Working Parameters
Product Details

Available in sequential position configurations, these wheels offer fabricators the flexibility to match their specific workshop demands. When used as a complete set, they provide an efficient combination of fast initial profile shaping and clean, accurate finishes before the final polishing stages.

Technical Features

  • Specialised Zares Matrix Bond: The specialised bond formulation is designed to cope with the abrasive nature of engineered quartz and the varying hardness of natural granite, providing dependable profiling performance throughout the life of the tool.

  • Precision V20 Bullnose Geometry: Engineered with a calibrated 20mm full bullnose radius to ensure uniform edge production, eliminating manual grinding corrections and uneven edge profiles.

  • 4-Segment and 7-Segment Options: Available in multiple segment configurations to deliver aggressive, rapid profile generation with maximum water flushing, or distributed layouts to reduce vibration and maximise tool longevity.

  • Vibration-Dampening Core: Engineered to absorb high lateral mechanical shocks during rapid directional changes along worktop parameters, ensuring straight vertical profiles and an incredibly smooth sidewall finish.

  • High-Efficiency Internal Water Channels: Designed with an optimised internal cooling system to ensure maximum water delivery directly onto the V20 cutting contact zone, flushing out stone slurry instantly from the tool path.

Tool Application Style

  • Granite & Quartz Profiling: Suitable for a wide range of automated CNC profiling tasks including perimeter shaping, worktops, island panels, and vanity tops in granite and engineered quartz requiring a 20mm full bullnose finish.

  • Sequential Position Processing: Designed to work seamlessly in standard progressive sequences (Position 1 through Position 4/5) to systematically refine the V20 edge from raw cut to smooth finish, reducing spindle load and maintaining consistent profiling performance.

Application Constraints Warning

The Zares line has been developed specifically for granite and engineered quartz. For ultra-compact surfaces (UCS), porcelain, and other highly vitrified materials, a dedicated profiling wheel set designed for those applications is recommended.

A continuous supply of clean water must be maintained throughout the machining process. Adequate water flow helps keep the tool cool, remove slurry from the cutting area, and support consistent profiling performance while maximising tool life.
