Turbo Blades

The Turbo Angle Grinder Blade is a heavy-duty, fast-cutting handheld tool built for high-RPM processing of engineered quartz and natural granite surfaces. While it target-matches the exact same material groups as our Enzo bridge saw blade, it has absolutely nothing to do with the Enzo mechanics. This blade features a completely standalone bond chemistry and core design engineered from the ground up to survive the extreme heat and rapid rotational speeds of un-geared handheld grinders.

Manufactured in partnership with E-VDS Diamond (Spain), the tool features an aggressive corrugated “turbo” rim geometry. These continuous wave teeth act as mechanical ejectors, clearing fine stone slurry and abrasive dust out of the cutting path instantly. This lowers interface friction, prevents segment glazing, and delivers fast, clean linear cuts during intensive freehand fabrication.

Technical Features

• Thermal Core Rigidity: Reinforced steel core engineered to absorb thermal expansion and prevent lateral flexing or warping during dry cutting.

• Aggressive Bite: Combines the fast feed characteristics of a fully segmented blade with the smooth entry control of a continuous rim.

Tool Application Style

• Linear Cut-downs: Perfect for sizing backsplashes, roughing out sink cut outs, and straight-line trimming on site.

• Plunge Parting: Formulated to track perfectly straight through dense granites and compressed quartz slabs without wandering.

Handheld Operational & Handling Guidelines

Because handheld angle grinders function via operator feel rather than computerized machine tracks, traditional parameter tables do not apply. Operators must adhere to the following handling rules:

• Keep Trajectory Straight: Maintain a perfectly flat, square line of advancement. Do not twist, pitch, or tilt the angle grinder mid-cut, as this causes localized core overheating and premature segment degradation.

• Controlled Down-pressure: Let the aggressive wave teeth pull into the stone naturally. Applying excessive body weight onto the grinder will bog down the spindle motor and accelerate tool wear.

• Air-Cooling Cycles: When running continuous dry cuts through dense engineered quartz, back the blade completely out of the stone every 10 to 15 seconds. Let it spin freely in open air for 3 to 5 seconds to dissipate built-up friction heat from the core.

Application Constraints Warning

NEVER utilize the Turbo blade on ultra-hard natural quartzites or fragile technical ceramics/Dekton. Quartzite will glaze the medium-hard metal bond instantly, stopping the blade from cutting, while tension-sensitive sintered surfaces will experience severe edge micro-chipping and face fracturing from the aggressive wave-tooth impacts.
